What a lovely image of St. Angela Merici on this pendant. She is depicted here surrounded by young girls.

St. Angela Merici spent her life in the service of the Church and her focus was to educate girls. So successful was she that she created the monastic Order of Ursulines. This order of nuns would educate women throughout Europe and eventually worldwide to far away places like Africa and the Americas.
