What a wonderful Confirmation or gift to those that respect the life and teachings of Saint Augustine.

St. Augustine is the patron saint of theologians and sore eyes. Augustine was born in Northern Africa to Saint Monica. He claims to have been a naughty youth but changed his ways. He became Bishop of Hippo. The city of Saint Augustine, Florida, was established on his feast day and named for him.

A classic image of Saint Augustine wearing his Bishop’s clothing is found on this round-shaped necklace.
