St. Genevieve is the patron saint of Paris, France and is known for her devoted life to Christ. She famously convinced many people to stay in Paris and pray for days that Attila the Hun and his army would not invade the city. Her prayers and those of the Parians were answered and Atilia did not come to Paris. Her feast day is January 3.
