Mercy thinks, speaks and does all that is urged by kindness and love. Mercy welcomes, accepts and respects those whom society discards. Mercy forgives, supports and cares for all. The author brings home this point through clear and convincing reflections. He selects important Bible passages regarding his theme and explains them in a simple and meditative way so as to enhance our understanding of divine mercy and human mercy and to inspire our action. He also offers practical suggestions for corporal and spiritual works of mercy. The entire book is Bible based. As you meditate on Gods mercy and grow in His likeness, mercy will become more and more a significant part of your daily life. If you want to experience the joy of rediscovering and making fruitful the mercy of God with which we are all called to give consolation to very man and every woman of our time, as Pope Francis puts it, this is the book for you.
