The novena to the Immaculate Conception is typically started nine days before her feast day, December 8th. Although this novena can be said any time of the year its purpose is to help us reflect on the life of Our Blessed Mother, her purity and love for her Son. We pray that we can be like her and love Christ as she loved Him. We pray that we too will be filled with grace. Then we too can live a life worthy of salvation and unity with the Lord.
