This is a unique medal in shape and texture. In this traditional depiction of Saint Florian we find his image on this pendant as that of a strong Roman soldier holding a shield. In his hands is a barn or house which he is to protect from fire. Saint Florian is the patron saint of Fire Fighters, Poland and upper Austria.
