This book should be required reading for anyone involved with the Charismatic Renewal Movement. An expert in Mystical Theology, Fr. Hampsch compiles his own writings as well as extensive quotes from other authors, including early church fathers, and brings us a concise but thorough study on the Holy Spirit. This handy guide will be helpful when used privately or communally in preparing candidates for receiving baptism in the spirit–the sublime experience that launches one into the charismatic dimension of Christian spirituality.
