The image on this pendant portrays St. Jane as holding a cross and the hand of the Christ Child. Jane was born the princess daughter of King Louis XI and was devoted to prayer and God from an early age. Her father disproved of her religious ways and forced her to marry. The marriage failed but this allowed Jane to join a convent and went on to start a famous religious order of nuns, the Order of the Annonciades.
